Clear answers before payment

01Can a complete beginner join?

Yes. The complete course starts with the beginner-friendly New World session, then continues into Old World regions and labels as one connected learning path.

02What language is used?

The class is conducted in Mandarin and E-materials are in Chinese only. There is currently no English or Malay class.

03How long is the course and when is it held?

The complete course contains two 2.5-hour sessions, five hours in total. New World is confirmed for Saturday, 5 September 2026, 2:00pm–4:30pm; the Old World date is confirmed during enrolment. Both are in Bukit Jalil, Kuala Lumpur.

04How many wines will I taste?

Five wines are confirmed for the New World theme, aligned to five key red grapes. The Old World tasting count is still being confirmed.

05What is the difference between beginner and advanced?

The official names are New World and Old World. They are different themes, not simply easy and difficult levels.

06Will I receive a certificate?

After completion, attendance and scoring are confirmed, you may download a numbered digital Certificate of Attendance with a verification QR. It is not a qualification or WSET credential.

07How do I register and pay?

Use any primary button on this page to pay RM650 directly through DOKU. The payment page shows DRINK MASTER EDUCATION SDN. BHD. as the merchant and JWC Wine Course as the item. Full payment submits the enrolment; you can then send the receipt to Emily for the second date and both guides.

08When will I receive the two guides?

You can receive the digital Wine Buying Guide and Wine × Cheese Pairing Guide immediately after completing enrolment; JWC Academy sends the access instructions with your enrolment confirmation.

09What about absence, refunds or transfers?

JWC Academy confirms the applicable refund, transfer, make-up and cancellation arrangement case by case. If this affects your decision, use the WhatsApp help link on the page to ask Emily before paying.

10Where exactly is the venue and how is parking?

Bukit Jalil, KL is confirmed. The final venue name, street address and parking guidance are still under verification.

11Is this a WSET course?

No. The class uses the WSET Level 2 SAT method card as a teaching tool only. It does not award a WSET qualification or other credential.
